The machine came early, and I spent a few days getting back to operating from my previous setup. Pleased, thus far. I have been using, teaching, and servicing computers since 1985 (now retired). While I have built and procured both business, home, and gaming computers, and also software, my own personal machine is keeping solely on personal need so I don't upgrade often. My most recent computer was given to me probably 4 or 5 years ago, an HP with 4 gig Ram and a dual-core processor. I added ram and 2 more HDs (2 terabytes) running Vista (even while installing Linux and Win 7, 8 & 10 (started w/ DOS). The power company killed my poor old computer. When you are used to having plenty of parts and machines around to use in a bind, you get cheap. Instead of building something $800+, I looked at this and similar offerings.
This is a good model Dell, arrived quickly, no nastiness inside the case, clean, and with 1 small dent on the top outside corner. It runs well and is performing nicely. I have reinstalled and upgraded my software. My comments are limited as I do not do CAD or heavy-duty image work anymore. I play music, read and write with some foreign language and glyphs and design.
Starting up: This machine came with a kbd and mouse. Might not be what you want or need, but plug them in to get going especially if you'll be adding your own stuff (like wireless versions). It comes with a Dell Windows 10 Pro DVD disc. Always good.
Note: Find documentation on any computer (or motherboard) you'll buy first. I did not!)
I was expecting to connect my monitor to a Displayport. (There are two besides a VGA.) But this model includes a board w/ DVI. I had to find a DVI to VGA connector.
If you have any other configuration in mind, get into the BIOS (press F12).
I have two HDs with data I need so I had to allow them in BIOS (Legacy) to recognize them, and I moved the SSD so I could arrange HDs and cables. The SSD was held by double-face foam tape(!) in the bays. The power supply has limited power connections (4 SATA, I think), and I wonder if it can be replaced. Dells once were a bit weird (proprietary)--is this one? Can I change to a ThermalTake 430 PS?
It also has no card reader like my old HP had, so I spent $20 for one.
The machine comes with a DVD drive. It comes with a "BT" solid-state drive 500g. I do not know who the BT is. But...
I'm pleased with the computer, and it's as good as having a new one as an opinion from a user like myself with average needs.

I never had a computer so fast in my life. The solid-state drive is great. I received it quickly and it was well packaged. I can also run my video editing programs now without my computer freezing.

Note that the included video card has DisplayPort port (NOT HDMI), but a DisplayPort/HDMI dongle adapter was included and worked fine. Also, no built-in WiFi, just a little USB dongle. I didn't use either of those, as I upgraded the graphics card to an RX 570 (yes it just barely fits, just change BIOS to UEFI, and have a couple right angle SATA cables on hand), and put in a new wireless/Bluetooth card. The included RAM is indeed 16gb, just know that it comes in 4x4gb configuration. The SSD is a cheap brand name I didn't recognize, but it works fine for now. You will want to upgrade from the stock power supply if you want to upgrade the video card - I put in a 500W EVGA PSU and it works great. Everything is fast and it runs quietly. Very happy with the purchase!

What a deal....maybe not a gamer, but I'm not a gamer. Quick, excellent graphics, plenty of storage, more than satisfied.
