I was excited to order such a good computer for what I thought was a good price. The PC arrived within two days and seemed to be in good working order. The memory was advertised as 16 GB, but this was misleading. The computer is capable of 16 GB but they actually only supplied 8GB. So, just be aware of that. Also, the computer was not configured for Windows 10 correctly. When I went through Windows 10 configuration, the computer rebooted and then came to a grinding halt. The HDD worked at 100% and the start menu never showed. Virus???. I had to reset the PC back to factory default settings and start from scratch with a fresh Windows 10 installation. Not sure why I had to do this, but it worked, and now the PC runs normally. I would say good PC for the money now that it works.

I had looked at some of the bad reviews and weighed in the gamble I was taking with a refurbished unit. setup was lightning fast, took maybe ten minutes. boot up takes about twenty seconds. hard drive and fans aren't loud, and I decided to "drop test" by playing about three hours of final fantasy through steam, CPU runs about 30%ish with no dives or climbs, no heat issues, and the frame rate was decent, 50ish FPS.
Initially bought this PC for podcasting with Mixcraft. it drove the program well while using midi, however, when I tried to use some of the programmed pads, the system usage bar hit the top for whatever reason.
the advertised memory and speed are what I got. I am tempted to buy another one just for personal use. my only gripe is the RGB connection in the rear is picky, looks like someone was naughty and pulled or yanked on it, but It's usable. also, if you wanted to install anything aftermarket as far as GC or SC, you're going to void the warranty. there is a yellow tag on the service door- no big deal, but I would have liked to check the inside of the unit for dust.

If you want a basic machine, this one is great. Buy it and don't change a thing! I decided to upgrade, to an SSD boot drive (took out the included spinning hard drive) and added a graphics card too (a low profile, passive cooled Nvidia 1030). When I re-installed my windows 10 from my own DVD, it was a big hassle. Ultimately it did work, but it took me most of a day being very clever to get it right (I ran into lots of problems updating from MY COPY OF WINDOWS, I'm not complaining about their image). When I installed fresh I did get some errors regarding the key on the sticker... this is a complex issue that I won't get into... but ultimately my license is working just fine without doing anything weird. I'd recommend leaving it configured exactly as it arrives. They delivered with a nice fresh install of Windows 10 which updated smoothly. The upgrade that I did later was not so smooth, but that's my issue. Highly recommended. Also the included flimsy keyboard and mouse... yeah they are flimsy but actually, I like them a lot. An amazing deal. I don't know if all the sellers are the same, but I'm really happy with what I got from
Tecno.
