Is Dell OptiPlex 7010 Small it 5GHz internet capable?
When you ask about 5 GHz internet-capable, I am assuming that isn't exactly what you mean, but I think I do understand the meaning of your question. I will answer your question, then I will take a few sentences to educate, so you may communicate what you want with others on your quest. No, this is not "5 GHz internet-capable". You CAN connect this to the internet, with a network cable (wire) to your modem or router. Since you specified 5 GHz, I am assuming you are referring to a 5GHz wireless network signal (WiFi). This computer does not have the wireless capability when you get it, but you CAN add a wireless card to the computer, or even a USB wireless adapter, and connect to your WiFi. As far as the 5GHz...Why? There is nothing wrong with the 2.4 GHz spectrum in WiFi, 5GHz technically has a slightly faster speed, but it also has about half the range of 2.4 and gets weak going through anything between the PC and the router. If you are deadset on 5GHz, okay, get a 5GHz card or adapter and put in the desktop if you can find one, but I honestly would just stick with 2.4GHz (ANY wireless N adapter or a card will work fine as it is the standard).
The part that is confusing people (if you haven't gotten it yet)...5GHz is the frequency of your WiFi (secondary, as 2.4GHz is the primary and optimal frequency), WiFi is NOT internet, they are two different things. WiFi is part of your home network, the internet is not. You can access the internet, using your WiFi, to connect to your home network, that connects through a modem (either yours or your service provider), to your service provider, who is supposed to supply a connection to the internet. I hope this helps a little.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great computer, at a very reasonable price

I do heavy-duty software development on this without any hitch. Great computer, at a very reasonable price. I also ended up replacing the HDD with an SSD, it's blazing fast now in all aspects.
I would also recommend Refurbees. UPS ended up misplacing my order and Refurbees sent out a new computer within a few hours. Very happy with their prompt response and customer service, in general.
