I'd had a 2004 PC that I'd upgraded in 2014 - new motherboard, SDD, graphics, power, RAM, etc, but it constantly suffered from BSOD issues with win 10. I bought a new copy of windows 10, spent quite a bit on "experts" to review the thing and after losing so much time, data and hair due to it BSOD I took it to bits and bought this Desk top.
Supply and delivery were great - quick and the PC came well packaged. It's obviously used and shows signs of wear, but I was expecting not a new item.
Tech-wise all the components marry up with the description.
I binned the WiFI USB dongle straight away as surfing the web on it was like watching paint dry. I put in a PCI card from my old PC - perfect.
Boot up was also slow for an I7 - so I cloned the drive and put in my SSD from my old PC - WOW!!!!! That's more like it!!!!
Without the above alterations, I would be a little disappointed that an I7 is only as fast as it was upon delivery. I would advise against spending the extra cash on that basis and go with an I5 or lower with a faster processor, or buy an SSD and new WiFI card and do as I did, and you've got a very nice PC for not a lot of cash.
Note if you want to upgrade it's very tight in the case so not much room for your 64GB of RAM, or 4 x SSD drives and 2TB oil-cooled graphics card!
Reliability wise it's been fine. No problem at all. I installed Dell's auto-update service tool and it's sweet as a nut. No BSOD for me! time for more online shopping!
It also came with a Technix mouse and keyboard - an option to have or not have these would be cool to save some cash if possible as they are just lying around the basement now collecting dust, along with the 1TB HDD and a USB wifi dongle.
