It depends on your original configuration, as the ram is custom based on what you choose when you order. But it is expandable up to 512gb of ram. I opted for the 128gb which filled 1/2 the bays and allows me to expand up to 256gb in the future if needed.

It is a huge 50 plus pound computer that is amazing for the price it works well with editing, virtual machines, and daily takes. Also great for gaming got over 240 frames per second on 1080p on all of the game I tested and 4k 60 frames. Make sure you get at least 1x E5-2695 V2 2.4GHz 12-Core a 2tb hard drive and 64gb of ram with k4200 or higher for the graphic I would get the 6000 if you have the money. also if you buy all the parts yourself it would be over 2600 dollars this a good deal and I mean it.

The computer was clean inside and out.
The computer booted and functioned well and even had the latest BIOS installed!

I did have problems with the LSI 2308 RAID controller performance. When I mirrored two drives, the performance of all the drives in the computer slowed down to around 1/3 of normal performance. I don't know if this is a driver problem between Windows 2019 Server and the LSI 2308 RAID controller when using RAID 1 (mirroring). ---Oh, yes, I googled the crap out of it and found better drivers than the generic ones Windows installed. I worked around the issue and ended up using JBOD and Windows Software RAID and performance is really good.
